FACTORS CAUSING A PREDISPOSITION TO CELLULITE
• Nutritional factors, high fat or carbohydrate consumption favours the appearance of cellulite. • Neurovegetative factors, Emotional disorders, such as anxiety can induce the appearance of neurovegetative dystonia, liberating catecholamines and affecting peripheral microcirculation which would influence the fat tissue. • Metabolic factors, some disorders, such as liver disease of diabetes could aid in the development of cellulite. • Toxic factors, the intake of alcohol and tobacco, hypercholesterolemia, hyperuricemia or constipation
• Mechanical and vascular factors, sustained incorrect or tiring body posture, circulatory alteration due to varicose veins or repeated traumatisms can favour the appearance of cellulite. • Social and lifestyle factors, tobacco, alcohol, sleep deprivation, pregnancy, tight clothing or menstruation can all affect microcirculation and favour the appearance of cellulite.
