LASER• The laser lipolysis (lipolaser) technique is based on the elimination of adipocytes through the intra-tissular delivery of a beam of monochromatic light (laser) specifically aimed at destroying fat tissue. • The laser lipolysis technique has been devised to make the destruction of unobtrusive excess fat tissue on localised anatomical regions possible. It has the critical complementary value of treating the skin in the area. It is tensioned and this facilitates its adaptation. There is a correction of the pre-existing flaccidity, above all in areas with less contraction capacity, as occurred with conventional liposuction. This allows for treatment of areas that are more complicated with conventional liposuction, such as double chin, bra roll, neck, back, stomach or inside arms and thighs. Also suitable for lifeless and poorly retracting skin, such as in the cases of women with post-natal abdomen. It is an interesting tool for lipo-corrections in older patients where the flaccidity resulting after conventional liposuction would make this technique contraindicated. All of this is due to the skin contraction concomitant to the skin tightening effect caused by the liberation of HSPs.
What is laser lipolysis or lipolaser?Laser lipolysis (lipolaser) involves the destruction of accumulated excess fat tissue through the transcutaneous delivery of laser light selected for its ability to destroy fat tissue. The laser lipolysis (lipolaser) technique is designed to access the destruction of accumulated fat in localised areas with a very effective response on the skin by favouring its contraction after performing this technique. This aids treatment in the difficult areas for conventional liposuction such as the inside of the arms and thighs, abdomen with or without associated laxity, bra rolls, double chin or facial contour. Laser lipolysis is also effective in retouching prior liposuctions with an irregular result or poor skin behaviour. It is a very effective tool in contouring the banana fold, saddle bags, inside thighs or knees, treatments where the contraction (skin tightening) reached is decisive for a good result.
